The Complete Cricket Care and Dispensing Kit
Crickets are an ideal source of food for reptiles, amphibians, other insects and birds. They provide valuable protein, vitamins and minerals. In some cases they are difficult to keep for any length of time, but now hobbyists can keep crickets for longer periods.
Crickets love to hide in dark, confined places. Included in the kit are textured black cylinders that perform as combination Refuge/Feeder tubes.
The tubes are simply removed (one at a time), and by putting your hand over the open end, the crickets are contained in the tube. Place the tube over the animal you wish to feed and gently tap until the required number of crickets fall out. To prevent crickets escaping from the main tank, a drop down flap covers the opening made when removing the tube.
As well as the tubes, there are also feeding and water containers for the crickets and complete instructions. Crickets are not included.
